Yesterday, I received a postage slip that stated I had a certified letter at the Post Office from the DC Board of Elections. What could they be sending me I wondered? Please let it not be notice that someone is challenging my candidacy for the ANC position. Yes, I am a worrier and sometimes see the glass as half empty instead of as half full.
As soon as they opened this morning, I called the elections office and they informed me that they send pre-qualification letters via both regular and certified mails.
